Organic land care is the design, installation and maintenance of landscapes to promote and preserve environmental health both above and below ground. Basic to these practices is the understanding that all organisms in nature are interdependent. If we want healthy plants we need to foster the health of their entire ecosystem. This goes beyond integrated pest management and the use of pesticides and herbicides. It seeks to create environments that cater to the well-being of all inhabitants.
